Pop-up Gallery Exhibition
Curated by members of O Z I I O, Locally Grown is a rotating gallery show of young, local artists in alternative art spaces around Boston. Most recently: Fort Point, the seaport warehouse district of Boston.
The pieces chosen for the shows reflect the current DIY ethic and trends in parodied social commentary and imagined realities rendered with bold graphics and specific attention to craft. The work ranged in medium from silk-screened prints and marker illustrations to large format analog photos and multi-media collage.
The show was hosted by FPAC’s Gallery @ 12 Farnsworth, which is an artist occupied commercial space run for artists, by artists.
